Parenthood Is Back This Tuesday Night, April 5
After a short hiatus, the return of "Parenthood" is this Tuesday night on NBC. Halfway through the second season, now, Parenthood has become a staple weekly event in our household. My husband and I have been intrigued by the lives of the Braverman Family, as Jason Katims (writer/producer) continues to find creative ways to apply everyday family issues into this well thought out, original series, based on the Parenthood movie from years ago. Parenthood relates to many households and is performed in a clever dialogue that actually brings out the "family-like feeling" in the show. Parenthood originally caught my attention when I saw a preview revealing that one major plot surrounding the series is the parenting of a child with Autism. Immediately I set set my DVR, to see how they could possibly relate a television series to such a serious issue in many families lives. To my surprise, they pulled it off, not only with the Autism storyline, but with many everyday family challenges. I never found myself relating to television characters as much as I do with the Braverman clan. Sometimes I actually think they have a hidden camera somewhere in my house because the storylines are so personal to my life. Tune in weekly as I will catch you up to date with the Bravermans and relate to their household storylines.
